😆 Sam! you'll be as i was in very beginning useful idiot in linux world.
Did not know jack about linux world twelve years ago. Literally thought desktop environment was the actual os name confused coming from windows world.
Now i just do it all in my pajamas and sleep.
Books, forums, ebook, googling all answers like crazy in first few years.
What dose this do? How dose it work? What drivers? What codecs? What software?
What are all desktop environment names? What desktop environment? Why is not just called desktop?
Asking all questions? Why did I get black screen of death? How do i fix it in terminal boot menu?
Trial and error, learning what to install and not to install to brick linux.
What is runit? What is sysv? system D? Bla bla bla................
It ladder, take years to climb gradually learning it all at slow pace.
Most interesting one tried to bring up in first version of x86x64 linux lubuntu 12.04 and ubuntu 12.04 was funny error of codecs. Video turned blue even ppl they look as they where smurf cartoon. Even made blue porno video in earlier revisions of linux x86x64 betas.
🍿 Tried to bring this error up in ubuntu team forums they kept kicking me out and banned me saying spam instead of fixing problem.
How that an error or bug?????????????????????????????????????????????? Codecs are turning ppl blue in video drivers.
Only occurred in early beta ubuntu revisions of x86x64 bit versions. For unknow reasons could not figure out. Then it goes away with x86x32 versions only at the time.
I'll never know why?????????????????????????????Ubuntu never help solve it either.
My only clue I could go on was gstreamer was poor codec for x86x64 at the time.
Sense more new codecs where not used yet in beta linuxs.
Lot the beta ubuntu software did not like gstream codecs.
Could never bring this up in ubuntu forums kept getting banned.
